The Chief Instructor: Master Rico Raagas Carino, a retired PNP Officer.

Master Rico has learnt and teaches techniques from both the grouped and ungrouped methods of Balintawak. As the grouped method is simply a systematic teaching system of the Balintawak style/school, his training/instruction closely resembles a grouped system, with simple variations of techniques, unique to Master Rico.

His ungrouped Balintawak instruction is from Andres Olaibar and Nonato Gaabucayan both direct students of Anciong Bacon.
His grouped Balintawak instruction is from Teofilo Velez and his son Chito Velez.

Another style Master Carino teaches is the Rocamora Style.
This is a double handed style with a long stick. The sticks length is from the hip to the foot. This style closely resembles the Baghan Tapado styles of Negros.
